Come on a Foodie/Drinkie tour of Lower Manhattan! We’ll kick off at The Ear Inn (326 Spring Street), a speakeasy during Prohibition and today is the epitome of warm and cozy. After a drink and a cup of soup we’ll proceed to the 2nd oldest tavern in continuous operation in NYC, also a speakeasy in the day: Fanelli’s Café. Home to one of the best burgers in the city, we’ll enjoy a pint or two and soak in the atmosphere of a tavern that dates back to 1851. From there, we’ll walk to Houston and Bowery and DBGB’s: Chef Daniel Boulud’s downtown eatery featuring some of the best bangers and mash in NYC. Finally, we’ll round up the tour with a visit to McSorley’s Old Ale House, the 3rd oldest tavern in NYC (1862). Walking about 1/2 mile between each watering hole will keep your appetite peaked. Bring cash as we'll pay as we go. RSVP is required and our party is limited to 12.
